The last time I hiked to the Hurricane Deck was in 2016, almost 10 years ago. It is 4 miles from the parking lot to the Deck. This time, I decided before we started, I would only hike 3 miles to the Indian Painted Caves. Dave hiked the additional mile to the Deck.
The Potrero camp site is at the 1st mile point along the creek. From there the trail climbs steeply to the Deck. I took my new drone and new hiking chair with me, and both worked GREAT. Rather than a lot of pictures, I will mostly rely on drone video to document this hike.
