The Tequepis trail goes from Lake Cachumas to the Santa Ynez Ridge. From the ridgeline you have a great view of the Pacific on one side and Lake Cachumas on the other. It is a 4 mile steep climb to the top, but well worth the effort. I have hiked the trail several times, a couple are recorded below, click links to view:
