We started from ALSIO Park and took trail 27W02 up to the microwave site. On the transition from trail 27W02 to 27W01 on the way back, we lost trail 27W01 and got off on the Deer Springs trail. That mistake resulted in us spending a very cold night on the mountain. That forgettable experience was documented on my old web page. It can be accessed by clicking HERE

We started from ALISO Park. We took trail 27W01 up to the top of the ridge where the poles are located. We took pictures to analyze the best path to the poles. We had determined the exact location of the poles from GPS data taken from pictures the day we had to leave them. Returned back down 27W01.
